About
Increasing Survivability. Expanding Access.

The Breast Cancer Collective exists to increase the individual survivability of breast cancer through equitable access to screening, diagnostic care, and follow-up treatment.

Early detection saves lives. Access makes early detection possible.
We work to ensure that income, insurance status, language, geography, or social barriers never determine whether someone receives lifesaving care.
Why We Exist
Breast cancer mortality is not evenly distributed.

Medically underserved communities face later-stage diagnoses, reduced access to consistent screening, and barriers to follow-up care. These disparities are preventable.

We focus on eliminating the practical, financial, and systemic barriers that delay diagnosis and treatment — because survivability should never depend on a ZIP code.
Our 10-Year Goal
We are working toward a measurable 40% reduction in breast cancer mortality within the communities we serve.

We pursue this goal by:
-
Strengthening local screening partnerships
-
Ensuring annual screening continuity
-
Funding diagnostic follow-up procedures
-
Using data to identify highest-need populations
-
Removing barriers that prevent care access
We believe impact should be measurable — and survivability should improve.
Our Core Values
EQUITABLE & INCLUSIVE ACCESS
Everyone deserves access to high quality breast cancer care — regardless of income, insurance, language, or geography.
ACCOUNTABLE TO IMPACT
We use measurable goals and data-driven decisions to ensure every dollar advances survivability.
COMPASSION IN ACTION
Kindness, responsibility, and dignity guide how we serve every individual and communities.
Impact Model
01
Identify Gaps
We analyze community-level data and provider insights to identify where barriers most impact survivability.
02
Prioritize Funding
We direct resources to screening, diagnostic imaging, and follow-up care where access gaps are greatest.
03
Partner Strategically
We collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to expand equitable access.
04
Measure Impact
We track measurable outcomes to ensure every dollar meaningfully advances survivability.
05
Refine & Improve
We continuously evaluate results to strengthen long-term equity and sustainability.
Surviving breast cancer
must not depend on income, language, or zip code.
Our Mission
We increase breast cancer survivability by directing resources to communities where barriers to screening, diagnostic care, and treatment are greatest.

Our Vision
A healthcare system where breast cancer survival is determined by timely detection and quality care — not income, insurance status, language, or geography.
